IMAGINARY ACOUSTIC VISIONS OF THE DACHSTEIN GLACIER

 
These videos are studies of this rapidly melting glacier in the Austrian Alps. It is a closeup view of this glacier in the process of melting. The sound is a detailed recording made with a combination of hydrophones listening to the rapidly flowing water and accelerometers hearing the vibrations in the glacier's ice. This series of collages was created using the geometric repetiton of the original glacier video.
